Logistics and Warehousing

We work with employers to help young people gain the right skills through qualifications, apprenticeships and training programmes. These apprenticeships are for you if you want to progress into a job in driving goods vehicles, customer deliveries, forklift truck driving, order processing, while enhancing their professional skills and competence.

What will I learn?

You’ll learn a combination of theory and practical skills to demonstrate your understanding and competence in the workplace. Day-to-day activities could be:

• driving
• managing a vehicle
• scheduling and logging
• checking work
• supervising teams
• supervising performance and technology
• health and safety in the workplace
• food hygiene

What can I do next?

You can progress on to skills and jobs such as team leading, international logistics operations and traffic management.

Depending on the level of apprenticeship, you could train in:
