2 | Level 2: GCSEs (grade A-E) - or - City and Guilds 2 - or - NVQ 2 - or - BTEC First Diploma | Most employers use this as their minimum entry requirement. Some experience may be required in the subject |
3 | City and Guilds 3 - or - NVQ 3 - or - BTEC National Diploma | For people wanting to progress on to university or supervising and training others. Qualification or experience in the subject |
