Courses for 14-16 year olds

We offer specialist vocational education and training for learners aged 14–16. We aim to build confidence and develop self-esteem while ensuring that learners gain the skills and qualifications they need for the future.

We work closely with local schools to ensure that all learners explore their interests and realise their potential. We offer Entry Level 3 or Level 1 vocational qualifications, normally delivered one morning a week, covering a wide range of subjects, including:

  • Child, health and social care
  • Hair and beauty
  • Hospitality and catering
  • Motor vehicle
  • Music
  • Creative media
  • Sport

These courses are arranged through the local schools, so you will need to discuss this with them before making an application.

Apprenticeships are a great alternative to the traditional A-Level route. They are designed for those who are keen to start their careers early in their preferred industry. We have a successful apprenticeship programme covering intermediate, advanced and higher-level courses. Discover your passion. Become an apprentice.
