Advanced & Creative Hair Professional Apprenticeship | Level 3

Advanced and Creative Hair Professionals are creative, passionate, and driven professionals who work without supervision, managing themselves and others when required. They provide a quality service, whilst working to the highest standards and continuously developing their personal and professional skills.

They are highly skilled and experienced individual professionals who deliver hair fashion forward trends, which are innovative styles inspired by current images and their own creativity, individual flair, imagination, and interpretation.

Entry requirements

  • Level 2 Hair Professional qualification, or equivalent
  • GCSE 4–9 (A–C) or equivalent in English and maths

Business Administration Apprenticeship | Level 3

Business administrators have a highly transferable set of knowledge, skills and behaviours that can be applied in all sectors. This includes small and large businesses alike; from the public sector, private sector and charitable sector.

The role may involve working independently or as part of a team and will involve developing, implementing, maintaining and improving administrative services. Business administrators develop key skills and behaviours to support their own progression towards management responsibilities.

With a focus on adding value, the role of business administrator contributes to the efficiency of an organisation, through support of functional areas, working across teams and resolving issues as requested. The flexibility and responsiveness required allows the apprentice to develop a wide range of skills.

A minimum of maths and English GCSE grade 4/C or equivalent or the ability to achieve a Level 2 functional skill.
You must achieve Level 2 English and maths prior to taking the final assessment.

Customer Service Practitioner Apprenticeship | Level 2

The role of a customer service practitioner is to deliver high quality products and services to their organisation’s clients, be it in the workplace, digitally (including over email or social media) or by going out to see the customer.

Your role will include dealing with orders, payments, offering advice, guidance and support, fixing problems and gaining insight through measuring customer satisfaction. You can work in any sector or organisation type.

As a customer service practitioner you may be the first point of contact for the client. Your actions will influence their experience and satisfaction with your organisation, so you will have to demonstrate excellent customer service skills and have in-depth product/service knowledge. Your services must also be provided in line with the organisation’s standards and strategy, and within appropriate regulatory requirements.

Digital Marketing Apprenticeship | Level 3

The primary role of a digital marketer is to define, design, build and implement digital campaigns across a variety of online and social media platforms to drive customer acquisition, customer engagement and customer retention.

A digital marketer will typically be working as part of a team, in which they will have responsibility for some of the straightforward elements of the overall marketing plan or campaign. The marketer will work
to marketing briefs and instructions. They will normally report to a digital marketing manager, a marketing manager, or an IT Manager.

Early Years Practitioner Apprenticeship | Level 2

They will be responsible for supporting child initiated and adult led activities based around the needs and interests of each individual child, supporting children’s learning through planned, purposeful play opportunities and educational programmes and working as part of a team to ensure each child feels safe and secure. An EYP will also support the observation and assessment of each child and contribute to their learning experiences and assist with the care needs of the individual child such as teeth, skin, hair, feeding, changing nappies and toileting under direction of a more senior member of the team. They will also work in partnerships with other colleagues, parents and/or carers or other professionals, with support from a more senior member of the team, to meet the individual needs of each child. They will also have a responsibility for ensuring that they recognise when a child is in danger and/or at risk of serious harm or abuse and contributing to the health and safety of the children, staff and others on the premises.

A minimum of maths and English GCSE grade 3/D or equivalent or the ability to achieve a Level 1 functional skill.

You must achieve Level 1 English/maths, work towards the Level 2 and attempt the examinations prior to taking the final assessment

Early Years Educator Apprenticeship | Level 3

Early years educators, and other job roles such as nursery nurse and childminders, are highly trained professionals who play a key role in ensuring that young children learn and develop well and are kept healthy and safe. They work in a range of settings including full day care, children’s centres, pre schools, reception classes and as childminders. They may either be working on their own or supervising others to deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) requirements set by the government for the learning, development and care of children from birth to 5 years old.

Early Years Lead Practitioner | Level 5

The broad purpose of an Early Years Lead Practitioner is to be proactive and influential, working directly with children, skilfully leading day to day practice at an operational level.
This qualification develops your abilities to be the operational lead for the care, learning and development of all young children within your care, adapting to individual needs and providing inclusive and holistic provision. You will also be responsible for supporting the quality of learning and development in your setting.

Entry requirements

  • Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification, or equivalent
  • GCSE 4–9 (A–C) or equivalent in English and maths

Hair Professional Apprenticeship | Level 2

Are you considering a career in hairdressing? Our hairdressing level 2 apprenticeship will teach you the fundamental skills to shampoo and condition hair, cut hair using a range of techniques, style and finish hair to create variety of looks, and colour and lighten hair for both ladies and men. Barbers will be able to shampoo and condition hair, cut hair using barbering techniques, style and finish hair, cut facial hair into shape and provide shaving services for men. Hairdressers and barbers must be able to work with all hair types, ranging from straight hair to very curly, wiry hair. They also need to be able to carry out consultations with clients, demonstrate the professionalism, values, behaviours, communication skills and safe working practices associated with their role and be able to work without supervision to a high level of precision, with exceptional client care skills.

Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship | Level 3

Teaching Assistants work in Primary, Special and Secondary education across all age ranges encompassing special educational needs and emotional vulnerabilities. The primary role of the Teaching Assistant is to support the class teacher to enhance pupils’ learning either in groups or individually, ensuring pupils understand the work set, know their learning objectives and stay on task in order to make progress. Promoting self-belief, social inclusion and a high self-esteem play an integral part to pupils’ well-being; ensuring pupils thrive in a positive, nurturing, safe environment. It is an active role supporting the learner to access the curriculum. They are good role models, act with honesty and integrity, take part in team meetings; contribute to planning and class activities. Promoting Fundamental British Values through spiritual, moral, social and cultural development and positive behaviours are crucial in contributing to improved pupil progress and development.

Team Leader/Supervisor Apprenticeship | Level 3

This apprenticeship will help you develop a wide range of skills, including how to lead, manage and communicate with people. You’ll learn about operational management and strategy, managing projects and finance, and how to problem solve and make key decisions.
