Totton College Public Services student Delivers
Dalian Lacey, 17 from Totton and studying Public Services at Totton College put his training into action recently by rescuing a 90 year old pensioner. Dalian found the pensioner cold on the ground whilst he was on his paper round, it transpired the man had fallen from his roof whilst trying to carry out a repair and had been on the ground all night.
Totton Students get their reward
Over 200 students and parents attended our awards ceremony recently held at Totton College to celebrate student achievement - some succeeding in the face of extraordinary odds. In a year in which Totton College students saved lives and changed communities, we celebrated their success, not just as academics, but as individuals.
National Short Story Week 2011 saw creativity flow at Totton College Library
Totton College Library has recently taken part in the National Short Story Week. During the week there was a display of short stories as well as collaborative short story writing where anyone from the college could add a line to an existing story. There was also a short story writing competition. Alongside this there was a display in the library of a wide range of short story collections, which included both modern and classic.
Totton College is proud to be only the second Sixth Form College in England and the only one in the South to have achieved the prestigious Training Quality Standard that recognises the responsiveness of the college when dealing with employers training needs. Why Totton?

Chris Lucas - Hardley School
Studying: A Level Art, Photography, Product Design
When I visited the college on one of its Open Evenings everyone was so welcoming; the courses and facilities were much better for me than other colleges.
Once I have finished my A-Levels I intend to stay at Totton College and do an Art Foundation Diploma course. I've found that the college has a feeling of a community.
