Message from Hannah Avoth, Vice Principal – Centre Lead at Totton College

Totton College has remained open until Wednesday 25 March to meet the needs of identified key workers and some students with EHCPs. Following recent government announcements, demand has dramatically decreased and decisions have been made for the few remaining students to be supported at home from this point, and also to ensure their own protection and safety.

We are committed to remotely delivering our services as best we can. At the moment, we will ensure that managers and teaching staff keep in contact with learners regularly throughout the shutdown period and learning schedules and resources will be available and regularly updated until further notice. We are, as ever, incredibly grateful for your support and would urge our students to engage with the home study plan and maintain regular contact with our staff. In the event of any issues parents/carers can contact info@totton.ac.uk.

Finally, can I draw your attention to Public Health England’s coronavirus information website to enable you to keep abreast of the latest information, advice and guidance:

Kind Regards,
