Information for teachers
Totton College is fully committed to offering a variety of engaging opportunities for pupils in the local community. We encourage teachers to learn more about Totton College and the options for further study, including career-led courses and apprenticeships.
We offer a practical taster activities, career workshops, presentations, talks and tours of the college which can be tailored to suit particular subject areas or year groups if required. You can arrange to come to us or we can visit your school. We also welcome any thoughts or suggestions that you may have.
If you would like to enquire about making or receiving a visit, please contact us.
Information for parents
Leaving school to progress into further education is a big step for a young person. In Year 11 your child will need to make important decisions about their future education and career aspirations. It is recommended that you get information, advice and guidance early so that your child can make the right choices.
At Totton College we want every student to have a positive and valuable experience with us. We provide a safe and inspiring environment for students to study their chosen subject with excellent opportunities for progression.
We know that as a parent or guardian, your child’s education is of the utmost importance, so we do everything we can to make sure that your link with the college is as strong as possible. We have a number of ways for you to keep in touch with us including regular progress reports, parents’ evenings and access to your child’s progression coach.
