Apprenticeships are a fantastic way to improve and grow your business, offering you the chance to develop a more skilled and qualified workforce to meet the needs of your business in the future. Whatever your training needs, Totton College can support you. We offer a free Business Training Needs Analysis to identify any skills gaps in your workforce and can provide end to end recruitment support as part of our Employer Services offer.

Apprentices can be anyone over the age of 16, they can be new to the organisation or an existing employee who would benefit from upskilling and an apprenticeship can start from level 2 through to level 7 (masters level).

Whether you are a levy paying company or a small business, we can support you to navigate the Apprenticeship funding system and identify any financial support or incentives available to your organisation.

What our employers say:

I employed an apprentice as part of my business expansion and it proved extremely successful. She was enthusiastic and keen to adapt her learning to her job which benefited her, us and our clients. For me, taking on an apprentice is a privilege because it’s so good to be able to pass something on tomorrow’s stylists.

Totton College was instrumental in helping us to make the most of the levy and come up with a training course that suited our needs. Our apprentice is a real asset to the business and we’re delighted to have offered her a permanent position. I would definitely encourage more businesses to consider taking on apprentices.
