At Totton College, we are committed to providing a vocational education and training centre of excellence for all of our students.

You can choose from a wide range of learning opportunities, whether it’s a leisure course to try a new hobby or to give you the skills and training you need to further your career.

As you study with us, we will support you to develop confidence and self-esteem, and to gain the qualities and qualifications that employers want, now and in the future.
You’ll meet people with similar interests and get a chance to learn from experienced tutors in each specialist subject.

As part of the charity, Nacro, you will have the opportunity to join the national Nacro Students’ Union, which offers support and advice to all Totton College students. Getting involved with Student Union activities is really rewarding. You get the chance to make new friends, gain skills and – as it is affiliated with the National Union of Students – gain fantastic discounts in a huge range of shops and stores.

If you are a full-time student, you also have free use of the gym facilities (in college daytime hours) in the next door Totton Health and Leisure Centre (you need to pay a £10 induction fee). You can also use the pool in these times. If you are a part-time student of more than 12 hours, you can also use the gym on days that you are in college for lessons.

All students can also get 50% off hair and beauty treatments at our salon, Opus Salon, and have access to Hanger Farm Art Centre, a fully working theatre. Forest First Pre-School is located nearby in Fawley, near Southampton and offers care and support for children aged two to school age.

Interested in workplace training? We work closely with local employers and businesses, making lasting connections with them in order to offer the best traineeship, apprenticeship and employment opportunities for our students, as well as supporting local business.
