Outstanding Success for Arts Foundation Students – Now Progressing to Higher Education
Students looking for entry to Higher Education in Art traditionally progress through the prestigious Foundation Diploma in Art and Design. The Diploma provision at Totton College continues to prosper with the highest number of candidates this year and the best examination performance yet. Thirty-eight students were entered and all were successful, with 50% at Distinction or Merit.
Totton College’s Best Ever Inspection Result!
Totton College was very successful in its recent Ofsted Inspection. In the eleven grades awarded the College achieved three at ‘Outstanding’ and eight at ‘Good’.

Studying: A2 French, AS Photography, English Language & Literature, GCSE Spanish
At Totton I could do the combination of courses I wanted to do and received a lot of help and advice even though I applied from Germany and could not actually visit the college beforehand. The atmosphere here at Totton College is great and I find my teachers easy to talk to.
At the moment I am studying English Language and Literature, French, Spanish and Photography and I am hoping to study French and Spanish at university.
When I first started studying here, I didn't know what to do after college and if I should continue education. My teachers and information provided by the college have helped me decide how to continue and selected possible university and courses for me. Overall the staff have been great helping me settling into college.
