Never been to Hanger Farm Arts Centre? Or want to try out new art form?

We have an excitingly eclectic October here at the farm with a whole host of theatrical, musical and dramatic treats! Forest Forge Theatre Company make a welcome return to Hanger Farm on Friday 2 October with Around The World in Eighty Days. Adapted from Jules Verne’s classic story, this is one of the greatest journeys ever told! On Saturday 3 October we bring you a more musical flavour with Delicious Soundbites. This scrumptious acapella quartet offer a mouthwatering menu of doowap, jazz and gospel dusted with sprinklings of ukulele, violin, belly dancing and storytelling.

September is off to a winning start with the return of Music Theatre South and their spoof beauty contest – Pageant. This show is back by popular demand after their sell out performances earlier this year and the audience will again have the task of deciding the winner of Miss Glamouresse! Preview Thursday 10 September 8pm with two further performances Friday 11 & Saturday 12 September at 8pm.

Our Summer Barn Exhibition continues this August with art work on display from local schools including Calmore Infant and Junior Schools, Copythorne and our own Hanger Farm Art Club. Artist Stephanie May visited these schools and offered Printing Workshops exploring the theme Where I Live.

Our season hots up this Summer with more sizzling theatrical treats! This July sees a whole host of events set to delight the eyes and ears!

Summer is well and truly here and we have some sunny, funny delights to entertain you this month!

We have an amazing musical month for you this May at Hanger Farm! Thursday 7 May sees the Martin Harley Band’s appearance in the barn. Fusing inspired blues, jazz and rock into their sound, this hard-touring trio recently opened for James Morrison at the Royal Albert Hall.

Hanger Farm continues to provide a variety of interesting events for you this month! On 3-4 April at 7.30pm we welcome back Waterside Musical Society as they go back to their roots in an all singing celebration of popular songs from the 60s and 70s.

Spring has sprung at Hanger Farm with our programme promising to blossom throughout March! Local bands return to Rock The Barn on Saturday 7 March featuring Idiot3, Hours Til Autumn, Chemical Sunset and The Rebs.

Fight the freeze this February with some warm and fuzzy shows to thaw the Wintery blues! The seasonal panto Jack and the Beanstalk continues to play to sell out audiences this weekend, tickets still available for Thursday 5, Friday 6 and Saturday 7 evenings at 7.30pm.

Come on along and listen to On Broadway, Too on Saturday 17 January from 8pm! Join award winning Music Theatre South, for an evening of the very best Broadway has to offer. This talented company will perform hits from popular Broadway and West End hits such as "Hairspray", "Rent", "Spring Awakening", "Avenue Q" and "The Little Mermaid". Set in a cabaret club style setting, this up beat, bright show will chase away the winter blues!
