Former Totton College Students Art Exhibition

Roger Jarvis and Stephanie May, two ex Totton College students are holding an Art exhibition at Hanger Farm Arts Centre, Totton from June – July 2009.

This is a joint exhibition between two former Totton College students. The work comprises individual paintings, drawings, prints and some joint pieces produced over the last year.

Roger was at Totton College for five years. He started as a pathway student but progressed through GNVQ Intermediate, AVCE Art and Design and Foundation Diploma achieving high grades in all courses. Roger then progressed onto Higher Education, securing a place at Southampton Solent where he achieved a 2:1 degree in Fine Art. Since graduating, Roger has continued his art practice and has a studio space in Southampton.

Stephanie came to Totton College as a mature student, enrolling on a leisure course in painting and drawing. Stephanie enjoyed this course and enrolled on the Foundation Diploma in Art and Design achieving this qualification with a distinction. Stephanie then graduated with a first class honours degree in Fine Art and has continued with her practice in painting which has led to a number of solo and joint exhibitions.
