Totton College Builds on Success

Totton College is extremely proud to have been awarded two Centres' of Vocational Excellence by the Learning and Skills Council. One recognises our ground breaking work with employers working in the field of Mental Health, Learning Disabilities, Education and Care. This builds on our success with a previous CoVE in delivering specialist courses and programmes of study to people working with ICT.

What is a CoVE?

A CoVE is a Government initiative to recognize excellence in Colleges and Training Providers across specific sectors of the economy for working well with industry and business. In our CoVEs we work in partnership with other local colleges and training providers to ensure excellent training provision to employers big and small.

What does this mean?

Not only has the Colleges hard work and sector expertise been recognised we have also benefited from massive additional investment through the CoVE scheme. This has allowed us to install cutting edge ICT technology and build impressive new facilities including Classrooms.
