Disability - it's not a barrier
We believe that everyone has a right to appropriate high quality education and we provide a range of support services to try to ensure that any disability you might have won't be a barrier to your learning.
Throughout the College our staff will work to support you during your studies as appropriate.
We also maintain a wide range of policies to encourage students with a disability to participate fully in the College community and our buildings have lift access for students with limited mobility. Our Diversity & Equality Coordinator/Disability Officer supports and monitors our services.
Disability Discrimination Act
Totton College welcomes the Disability Discrimination Act (as amended by the Special Educational Needs and Disability Act 2001, Part 4 of DDA) and the Disability Discrimination Act 2005. We will make all reasonable adjustments to avoid substantial disadvantage to any student, potential student, member of staff or potential member of staff who has a disability.
