iTQ is a Certificate for IT Users building skills and knowledge in various IT areas to achieve a nationally recognised qualification.

About the Course

iTQ consists of a mandatory unit � Improving Productivity Using IT which is combined with various optional Units to create a flexible and individual qualification. Optional units are available in a variety of Application Software (eg Word Processing, Spreadsheets, Databasese, Presentations, Desktop Publishing) Communication Software (eg Internet, Email, PIM software) and more general IT use (eg Setting up an IT system, Computer Basics, IT Security).
The course is offered either through our iTForAll drop-in provision or as part of our work-based learning programme.

Course Aims

By the end of the course learners will achieve either a full Level 2 IT Qualification equivalent to an NVQ Level 2 or individual unit awards.

Some knowledge of IT.

How is the course assessed?

No exams, but ongoing assignments or projects in each unit.

Are there any resources to obtain?

Pen, paper, folder.
