Accounting - AAT Level 3 Diploma (Intermediate)

Summary

This course is appropriate for those who plan a career in accounting and require professional recognition, and those who wish to gain a good understanding of accounting procedures in order to compliment their own specialism. This might include managers, supervisors, owner managers, administrative staff and others with responsibility for budgets and financial control.

About the Course

The course is currently timetabled to run on a Tuesday and Thursday evening or all day Tuesday for 32 weeks.

The course will cover the following units:

* Accounts preparation 1 and 2
* Cash management
* Costs and revenues
* Indirect tax
* Professional ethics in accounting and finance
* Spreadsheet software

If you attend a course during the day you will be required to attend evenings for assessments.

Course Aims

The course aims to help participants achieve the knowledge, techniques, practical skills, personal qualities and ethical attitude required by the profession as well as achieving a nationally and professionally recognised qualification.

What are the entry requirements?

It will be assumed that participants will have achieved the Foundation Level to enter at Level 3.

All applicants will have an interview with a member of the course team during which they will be asked to talk about their experience and current circumstances. A decision about individuals' suitability for the course will be based on this interview.

How is the course assessed?

All assessments will be computer based assessments. If you attend during the day you will be requested to attend evenings for assessment.

Are there any resources to obtain?

You will be advised which books to purchase at the first meeting.

A Fee: £795.00, B Fee: £ 795.00, C Fee: £10.00

Are there any other costs?

The course fees are £795 (approximate) which include assessment. Other costs however, are textbooks £80, Membership fee £108 and Examination fee £50 per assessment (re-sit). (These figures are approximate).
