Summary

This course is appropriate for those who plan a career in accounting and require professional recognition, and those who wish to gain a good understanding of accounting procedures in order to compliment their own specialism. This might include managers, supervisors, owner managers, administrative staff and others with responsibility for budgets and financial control.

About the Course

The course is currently timetabled to run 2 evenings a week (Tuesday and Thursday) or during the day on a Thursday for 32 weeks.

* Professional Ethics in Accountancy and Finance (Apprenticeship only)

Course Aims

The course aims to help participants achieve the knowledge, techniques, practical skills, personal qualities and ethical attitude required by the profession as well as achieving a nationally and professionally recognised qualification.

What are the entry requirements?

There are no specific entry requirements, but an ability and interest in working with numbers is essential.

All applicants will have an interview with a member of the course team during which they will be asked to talk about their experience and current circumstances. A decision about individuals' suitability for the course will be based on this interview.

How is the course assessed?

All assessments will be computer-based assessments. If you attend a course during the day you will be required to attend in the evening for assessment.

Are there any resources to obtain?

You will be advised which books to purchase at the first meeting.

A Fee: £695.00, B Fee: £ 695.00, C Fee: £10.00

Are there any other costs?

The course fees are £695 which includes assessment. Other costs are textbooks approximately £60. Membership fee £108 and examination (re-sit) fee £50 per assessment.
