After leaving college I want to persue a career in the Maritime industry, maybe as an Officer in the Royal Navy or Merchant Navy, both would involve attending an academy to study for a Foundation Degree in Nautical Science.
I've taken part in the 'Engineering Education Scheme' which involved working within a team on solving a 'Detection of Oil' problem project chosen by an oil company. I visited a number of colleges but Totton College really stood out for me, with its friendly atmosphere and excellent facilities, including free use of the gym and the pool. It had all the courses that I wanted.
