Student Union

Totton College Student Union LogoTotton College Student Union, or TCSU, is where the serious fun starts!

Each year a team is elected by our student community to represent all students, both sixth form and adult. Elected representatives meet regularly to discuss and promote issues from a student’s point of view. They also organise all kinds of social and fundraising events – for example, the Freshers’ Frenzy event which always kicks off the year in style.

TCSU is also here for student support, helping students with welfare advice, and providing important links to external student support organisations. The Student Union works closely with the Student Welfare Officer, looking out for students’ needs.

Additionally, TCSU is affiliated to the National Union of Students, which means you can get fantastic discounts in a huge range of shops and stores.

Studying: Business Studies, Performance Studies, Drama and Theatre Studies

I chose Totton College because I was impressed by what I saw on the Open Day, the College also provides an excellent transport service and I felt welcome.

I've been on many Performing Arts theatre visits and was given a further opportunity to go on the Kenyan Adventure trip in the summer of 2010.

I've found the college treats you like an individual and it offers you so many opportunities and gives you responsibility that you may not be able to find elsewhere. I plan to study for a career as a primary school teacher.
